First of all, what RSS is?

RSS is most commonly expanded as “Really Simple Syndication”. As you can see, out there are a lot of blogs around the web. Thousands of new blogs appears everyday and this can be overwhelming for you as a reader, because you find a lot of useless blogs that you don`t like or very useful blogs that you lose or you waste a lot of your time to find them or to find new posts.
So, that`s why RSS exists. Using RSS you can subscribe to blogs or different news that you will like to see there new posts.

You can use your computer and go to blogs to see if they updated there websites with news or fresh items. Using RSS these news will come to you automatically!

This is also called “Feed” or “web feed”.

Subscribing using RSS to blogs, you will have created a Home page where will appear all news from all blogs you subscribed! Be careful, this can be addicting.

How to use RSS?

Follow the instructions of your RSS Feed Reader.

Each RSS Feed reader is a little different. Each one has a different process to subscribe to feeds. The instructions are usually clear.

Here are some videos describing the process for subscribing to RSS Feeds.

Where do I find blogs where I can subscribe to

Websites and blogs that have RSS feeds often add buttons that make it easy to subscribe using the common RSS feed readers. Buttons for some of the common readers are shown here.

If the webmaster has provided one or more of these buttons, click on the button for your RSS feed reader and follow the instructions. This is probably the easiest way to subscribe, but not all webmasters include these buttons.

When you go on a blog, and you like it and you would love to subscribe, go search for RSS icons and titles that say “Subscribe”:
