Almost a common passion of each designer or every person’s satisfaction, spending a lot of his or her daily time in front of the PC, the music, is sometimes a good source of inspiration. No matter which style or bpm, each one has its own preferences and it could happen that while listening to your favorite singer your productivity increases. I am a freelancer who can’t work without music so I ask myself which of the singers have cool official websites; luckily, many great artists have amazing websites but there are few who definitely should try a redesign or a whole new website. Here are some websites of the singers who enriched this year the music genre with amazing songs, please forgive me if I forgot to mention your favorite singer; anyway you could use the comment form to let me know what you believe I missed here. 1.Akon

Akon combines beautifully the contrast of black and white, but he uses into the header red so the contrast is more powerful. Another cool website which deserve to be visited.

2.Alicia Keys

A good website, with cool stuff and many interesting posts about the artist, possible to annoy visitors due to the scroll down but at the end the footer is really cool.

3.Andrea Bocelli

A beautiful voice, a beautiful website. Andrea Bocelli doesn’t forget his origins and offers a version of the site in Italian and one in English. The layout is a single image of Andrea and it is made in Flash.

4.ATB

ATB has a modern website with no complicated menu, easy to find any piece of information so good job!

5.Armin van Buuren

Armin impresses me by his music, but also I like his consistency through each online presence; the logo is always presented even though noticing it isn’t a rocket science. Another positive aspect is the color scheme which brings the idea of calmness and safety, nothing bold or strong.

6.Beyonce

Beyoncé’s official website is interesting and the best point is the huge header. The interaction with the readers is presented here not by using the social networks, but also having a nice poll “who rules the world, guys or girls”.

7.Britney Spears

The website of Britney Spears is simple but having a complete menu, enough to conduct the visitors whatever they want. The main element of the website is the portrait of Britney covered with many valuable pieces of information.

8.Christina Aguilera

Christina keeps up the trend of posting the latest tweets and the her official online presence is a place where harmony and accessibility seems to live together; the impressive header is presenting various aspects of her life, from protecting children to selling perfumes.

9. Dj Optick

Dj Optick is a DJ from Romania and he amazes me by the simplicity of the website, nothing more than a simple page from where anyone can find his sets and the modalities of contacting him.

10.Enrique Iglesias

Enrique Iglesias has a pretty decent website, having nothing to do with his exuberance and romantics. Maybe a redesign won’t be a bad move.

11.Inna

When we are talking about a good presence on social media, Inna is a very good example. She inserted into a nice layout her Facebook fan page but also the latest updates on Twitter. Definitely few artists present so many videos and pictures, but the fans really appreciate this.

12.Kanye West

Kanye West wants to promote his latest video and his website is only for this. Monster should be really important to him, but what should do the fans to find out more about him and his concerts?

13.Katy Perry

Something new, Katy introduces pink into the website and the result is cool and seems to represent her because in her wardrobe this color is very present.

14.Keysha Cole

The website of Keyshia Cole seems to be much synchronized to the latest social media updates, the tweets being presented in the middle of the website. An original idea much applauded!

15.Lady Gaga

Obviously, Lady Gaga should have an original website but in fact it isn’t as special as her apparel. The background is dark; the website shows us the number of fans and followers and the numbers are impressive enough to put into the shadow the rest of the layout.

16.Linkin Park

Linkin Park prefers a simple but informative website. The darkness causes a nice effect with the bold and white letters; else nothing to make someone say, “wow”.

17.Madonna

Madonna applies a cool idea but seems that it isn’t characteristic for her: “simply is the best”.

18.Metallica

A rock band as Metallica must respect his name and the website is according to it. Grunge background textures, which can be modified by any visitors, give the website a great dose of originality so, please try all the “metalliskinz” available.

19.Nicole Scherzingher

Perhaps the website isn’t looking as great as Nicole is but it’s because she is too beautiful. Any fan should be content with the website and the information available; I don’t find something missing from here. The header is superb and the font used is simply wonderful.

20.Rihanna

Rihanna adopted successfully pink as main color and the fonts in the menu are handwritten- a nice and original combination.

21.Sean Paul

I was expecting more; the website is functional, accessible but mostly too banal; it has nothing to amaze someone.

22.Shakira

Despite Lady Gaga or Madonna, Shakira has an official website which expresses lot more energy and joyness. The yellow makes her stand apart and optimism is in the air.

23.Sting

Sting is very concerned with his latest tour, which started on seventh July in a magnificent spectacle in Bucharest and the website was updated on the same day, so Sting really takes care of his online presence. The website has nothing wrongly build but is not very impressive.

24.Tatu

Do you remember, some summers ago, the fabulous success of the two girls from Russia, the Tatu girls? Even though nowadays the girls aren’t in the tops their website is simply astonishing, like a little minus, I can say, the header should be placed on the middle of the background.

25.Tiesto

It seems that the artist prefers black and Tiesto is a good example but he is different because his website has a dark background while everything else is a richness of colors and the overall aspect is very cool. Honestly, I consider it one of the best designs ever encountered at a singer/producer/Dj.

26.The Prodigy

Yes, Prodigy has an official website according to their style. The color scheme is very powerful, the combination of black and orange bringing the layout to life. Another plus: the fonts used in the header menu.

27.Timbaland

Timbaland’s website is cool; it is more interesting than others in this collection. First of all he propose anything than black even if it is used here, the aspect is futuristic but the player starts once with the upload of the website which is annoying.

28.Usher

Usher has a cool website, different from the usual black but the menu is pretty similar to others. Visiting the website you can see videos and images of Usher, buy from the online shop so it is enough for a fan.

29.U2

U2 creates me a great disillusion because the website is a way too low to the standards of the band, but I believe it will be redesigned sooner. (Hopefully…)

30.50 Cent

50 Cent presents us an impressive website, having enough features to scare some people. Anyway, the background is superb and the easily visible profiles on various social networks are strong points.
